SCOPE OF WORK
This project covers the services associated with the upgrade to the Australian National Botanic Gardens (ANBG) bushfire sprinkler system.
The main goals from this project were to improve system reliability, improve system performance and maintainability, extend operational life of the system by 10-15 years, and to extend coverage of the present Bushfire Sprinkler System in the North and South areas of the Gardens, thereby enhancing protection from the system.
CHALLENGES & ACHIEVEMENTS
The original scope called for routing DN110 main water pipe reticulation through the Graden grounds to the pump house, which has a steep slope and rocks. Serendia proposed an alternative toute following the the road, resulting in less disruptive work and lower costs.
