Questacon Acoustic Panel Rectifications
Scope of Work
An acoustic panel installed on wall that fell from more than 12m in height triggered the need for Questacon to review the reliability of all elements and their fixings against falling. SERENDIA engaged a design team to investigate all fixtures on walls and ceilings throughout the building and provide tailored solutions. SERENDIA then implemented these solutions.
Challenges & Achievements
The rectification of the acoustic panels in the foyer were especially challenging due to the unknown structures, and accessibility. SERENDIA installed a scaffold deck to cover the foyer, while leaving the entire area operational.
